One of my customers has asked me what to do when confronted with a new pop up window asking which browser to choose. I answered this off the top of my head then did some research:

"I believe Microsoft have been instructed by the EU to tell every Windows user that they can use any browser they like for surfing the internet. Hence you get a wide choice but you must choose before moving on! I suggest you click [Install] "Internet Explorer" and it will say something like that's OK. Then you can get on with your life."
